Well, our summer is unfortunately coming to a close. What a fabulous summer it has been. From beach trips to California to the Lake to every other little place. Oh, and you know that BIG thing...AINSLEY FAITH!
Summer has been amazing. It has given me some of the best experiences of my life. We are again waiting on another little blessing to add to our family.
I wanted to do one last summer post. School starts on Tuesday, oh so sad. I will be in 10th grade, Adam in 7th, Hayne in 3rd, and Anna Grace and Andrew will be in K-4. So very crazy. This will be AG and Andrew's last "baby year" and they will be in K-5 next year. Oh my!
Here is our summer in pictures.

Summer 2011,
You were fabulous, amazing, lovely, wonderful, and just all around great. BUT all good things must come to an end. I hope you don't take it wrong. We can still be friends. It's not you, it's me.
Until next year,
We have gotten a baby for Ainsley. yanno the soft, lovey ones that you send to them and you just love to look at and pray that it makes it to your baby and that she loves it as much as you do. With Ainsley's birthday in a month exactly. {well yesterday} we are preparing a package for her...So very sad we will not be with her for her 2nd birthday {I share the same birthday with her and it will be my 16th...bittersweet}
Well we decided that until we sent the doll...everywhere we went and everyone who was close to us that we saw we would take a picture with the baby...then when we sent it to Ainsley she could look at the pictures of her family holding this baby and maybe connect the dots...it also just makes us feel better...yanno..this sister heart and my sweet mama's heart.
We bought two dolls..and plan to take the other doll everywhere else with us so Ainsley is truly with us everywhere we go...even if it is through a baby doll...
We can't wait to send this sweet thing to our girl and hopefully we will see her holding it and loving it...just like we are. We can't wait to hold you sweet love...you will sure be a whole lot better than a stuffed baby :)
Please pray for us this week and that we get more information about Ainsley...that we are LID already and we are able to start waiting for LOA. Thanks for your prayers!

We spent the past ten days at the ever so lovely beach. I absolutely adore our yearly beach trips. We always have so much fun and it is so relaxing. Our whole family {my Mom's parents and my Dad's} come down with us. It is lots of fun!
This year was no different! We had a blast!
We HAD to bring our sweet Ainsley along to the beach, even if just in a picture.
Mema and Papa {Dad's parents}
Nana and Bop Bop{Mom's parents}
We were tortured blessed with 2 hours {on two different occasions} of family pictures. We got a few cute ones.
Our best friends Jodi, Max, Cole, Kamden, Mimi, and Pappy came down for the week also!
Jodi with her precious kids. We hated Craig {husband/dad} couldn't join us for the week!
All of us together
They have been coming for as long as I can remember and it is SO great to have them with us. Max and I have been best friends since I was born. We are a whole 5 months apart. Adam and Cole are no different! They are 7 months apart. Hayne always wants to tag along with Max and Kamden who is the same age as Hayne tags along with me.
Max and I
FINALLY DONE with pictures for the trip!
It is always so much fun to have them to float in the ocean with, play ping pong, walk on the beach, run to the pier, go fishing, and do all of the fun things you can do at the beach with friends! We are so blessed to have them every year.
We spent the entire week swimming, tanning, and just having fun. We didn't do anything big, go to fancy restaurants or the pavilion. We just layed low and had fun. We did though take quite a few trips to the outlets and of course, the Disney* store.
How could we not?!
Overall we had such an awesome week and we were sad to come home but it is so nice to be home.
Oh, and on the bright side, 6 days from now I will be in California again with my favorite other family!
yahooooooooo.
The past 2 weeks have been a jumble of all kinds of things. Our last week of Christmas Break was spent hanging out at home, going to American Girl, and having fun! We all started back to school and attempted to get back in the normal schedule this week. Anna Grace and Andrew got the Croop and were out of it until about Thursday. I hate when they feel bad ): Thankfully they are feeling much better!
On Wednesday Dec. 28 we went to Amer*can Girl with Kathleen, MollyClaire, AnnaGrace, and Lydia for MollyClaire's birthday! It was so much fun and so special. Anna Grace got a bitty baby and I got a bitty twin. {Yes, I am 15 but I couldn't resist.} We spent the day shopping in the mall and then went to the bistro inside American Girl. We got desserts to share and the whole experience was something you could never forget. It was an amazing day. The whole group! Anna Grace and AnnaGrace
I got a sponsor child about a month ago who is in Uganda. I was so excited. Her name is Zalia and she is 7. How beautiful is she?! Go here if you would like to sponsor a child as well compassinmyheart.blogspot.com
Today was a huge day. We got almost 9 inches of snow! That is a big deal for the people around here. The snow is beautiful and the boys have been running around outside all day. We have no school today or tomorrow and it is still snowing! Who knows when we will go back :)
