Marathoner

We have been in DC for the last week touring and sightseeing before dad ran his LWB Marine Corps Marathon today. He did fabulous today and we are so ridiculously proud! He finished in 5hours 19minutes! This was his very first marathon and race of any kind so he did great!
We are waiting to fly home now so please pray for safety. More of a post and a lot of pictures to come!
Do me a favor and congratulate my dad for running 26.2 miles for orphans in China?
He raised over $3000 for love without boundaries and the children in China who need surgery. He changed the lives and stories of orphans and we couldn't be prouder!

Look at these beautiful updated pictures of our girl! Isn't she just precious. She has gained weight, grown hair, has a lot of teeth and oh yeah...SHE IS WALKING!

YES we {finally} got our Letter Of Acceptance from China!!

We were on Day 69 and completely elated with the news today. We are completely thrilled and now running around like crazies preparing to go to China! If all goes well we should be there for Christmas! How FABULOUS would that be?!

Dad's marathon is exactly a week away. The three bigs and parents will be going to DC on Wednesday for the week/end. so very excited and so very proud of daddy!

Apples!

Our annual Apple Orchard trip took place today. We had so much fun. I love the apple orchard. It is so beautiful and gets you in the mood for fall. Between apple slushies {oh so yummy} apple donuts, carmel apples, chocolate apples, apple picking, and so much more it was all too much! We had such a fabulous family day. Nana and Papa even tagged along! 

We had to bring Ainsley along! :)
