five years

We celebrated Anna Grace's 5 year gotcha day at the beach with our close friends and family! It was so fun to give her little presents from China and to celebrate with Watermelon cake!
I will let the pictures speak :)

Happy Five Years, Anna Grace. We sure do love you and feel so blessed to call you ours.

Beach, Beach, Beach!

Every year we take our annual trip to the beach. This year was no different!
We headed down on Tuesday and stayed until the next Friday! It was a wonderful get away and was so nice to be with our family and friends for almost two weeks!
Our trip was spent by the pool, shopping, tanning, and having a lot of fun!
Due to recent shark attacks, people drowning, and crazy riptides we decided to avoid the beach for the most part. We took Ainsley down for her visit and let her play in the sand, the boys did a little boogie-boarding, but mostly we were at the pool! It was a great trip and was so nice to just relax (kind of!)
We are now home, happy, and enjoying the rest of our summer...which is far too short!
We took our beach pictures and I have a few pictures from throughout the week, but for now the 'real' family pictures will do!

Oh, and I will add an update of everyone below the pictures. I know, you're welcome.
Ashton. I am 16 and a rising junior. I am in love with Africa and my heart will forever be in Uganda where I spent two weeks in June. I currently love glitter and I love Jesus even more.

Adam is 13 and a rising 8th grader. He is an unbelievable swimmer ranked 1,2, and 3 in 3 different events in the State. He wants to be an olympian. He is my biggest annoyance and best friend. He loves smelling like chlorine, pretending to be a fish and running in 110 degrees. I swear we're not related.

Hayne is 9, soon to be 10, and a rising 4th grader. He is hilarious, trouble, and just plain crazy. He's never found without an electronic. He loves running and football and his x-box. His obsessions are football, Tony Romo is his man crush, and spiderman. He's definitely a cool little kid.

Anna Grace is 5 years old going on 25. She is going to be in Kindergarten this year {I'm not gonna cry, I'm not gonna cry}, but don't let her tiny size fool you! She is a spicy and sweet little princess who makes everyone she meets fall in love. She is beautiful and is going to be a princess surgeon one day. Anna Grace loves Jesus and Taylor Swift, oh and singing karaoke. {She's quite good at it, too}

Andrew is also 5 and will be in Kindergarten this year. He is such a joy right now. He keeps us laughing with his impersonations, stories, and singing. He loves life to the fullest and is such a blessing. It is amazing how far we have come in two years. Andrew loves Power Rangers, making a mess, and listening to the Lion King sound track and reenacting the beginning with a baby Simba.

Oh, Ainsley! She is two and half and 23 pounds of pure sassiness. Our girl is a miracle and we see that in her every day. She loves fiercely and is the smartest, most talkative little thing you'll ever meet. 6 months ago in China we were told she had 'no hope' and today she is the meaning of the word 'hope'! She runs, talks, and is just like a child her age. She has come so far and we are so thankful. Ainsley loves her bottle, saying thank you, and eating animal crackers at every moment of the day.

Happy Weekend. Wishing you a fabulous week!
